Chan Zhi Xian

Research Engineer

Zhi Xian obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from National University of Singapore. He has 2 years of experience in working on instrumentation with a slant towards software-hardware automation. His research interest lies in developing automated control systems between upstream bioreactors to downstream measurements, developing modular subsystems that can be integrated together through control algorithms and user-friendly graphical user interfaces.

His current major projects in CAMP are:

(a) Automated Cell Free Sampling System (Auto-CeSS)

(b) In-house label-free Raman spectroscopy system
