Dr. Kiesar Sideeq Bhat is a research and scientific staff member at Critical Analytics for ManufacturingPersonalized-medicine (CAMP), Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology(SMART), Singapore, and Assistant Professor at the department of Bioresources, University of Kashmir, India. He received his B.Sc. degree from University ofKashmir in 2009 and M.Sc. degree in Organic Chemistry from University of Pune, India in 2013. He pursued his PhD between 2015 to 2019 to work on development of conductive electrodes and bio/chemical sensors for printable and flexible bioelectronic applications, under the supervision of Professor Yoon-Bong Hahn at Chonbuk National University, South Korea. Immediately after his PhD, he joined as a short-term postdoctoral researcher to work on the fabrication of sensitive DNA based biosensors with Professor Sooman Lim at department of flexible and printed electronics, Chonbuk National University, South Korea.

He then joined as postdoctoral research fellow between January 2020 to December 2021 to develop shape reconfigurable and recyclable 3D/4D printed systems, at Nanyang TechnologicalUniversity, Singapore. He received a prestigious Ramanujan seed research grant/fellowship award (approx. SGD 200,000 ) in 2021 from SERB, India. He has published about 25 research articles in peer reviewed high impact international journals and has obtained 2 patents. At CAMP SMART, he is collaborating with team of biologists and other research partners to develop a rapid and sensitive novel MRR based cell phenotyping technology both in terms of instrumentation and scientific validation. His other research interests broadly revolve around the synthesis of nanomaterials, development of optoelectronics, printable & flexible integrated electronic devices, development of sensor devices for biomedical sensing applications etc.
